The course covers such topics as: general
principles of adaptive reactions of the organism, mechanisms of neuronal
regulation in providing stability of internal environment of the organism, the
role of endocrine mechanisms in the unified system of neurohumoral regulation.
Reveals the regulation of functional activity of the organism by the
hypothalamic-pituitary complex. Reveals the role of thyroid and parathyroid
glands in metabolism and adaptation of the body, neuroendocrine regulation of
salt and water metabolism.
